Thomas Tuchel didn't hold back after watching his England team thrash Wales 3-0 at Wembley on Thursday night. The German manager was fuming about the atmosphere, calling the home support "silent" despite his side's brilliant display.
The German told ITV Sport that his team got no energy from the stands, even after they'd put three past Wales in just 20 minutes.
The 52-year-old was particularly disappointed that he could hear Welsh fans dominating the noise for half an hour. He called it "sad" that his players didn't get the backing they deserved.
"I love English football fans and the support they give," Tuchel explained. "But the atmosphere did not match the performance on the field today.

"Yes [we expected more from the fans]. What more can you give in 20 minutes? We didn't let them escape. If you hear just Wales fans for half an hour, it's sad because the team deserved more support today."

England had actually given their fans plenty to shout about in that opening period. Morgan Rogers grabbed his first international goal, followed quickly by strikes from Ollie Watkins and Bukayo Saka - three goals in 20 minutes should have had Wembley rocking.
The Three Lions were completely dominant and could have been five up by the break. They kept winning the ball back and creating chances, but somehow the atmosphere stayed flat.
It wasn't just a decent performance either - this was England at their attacking best. They've now scored eight goals in their last two matches after putting five past Serbia last month.

Tuchel didn't stop there with his criticism. Speaking at his press conference later, he wondered aloud why the stadium roof was still closed when his team was flying.
"We were 3-0 up after 20 minutes, we had ball win after ball win and I felt, 'why is the roof still on the stadium?'" he said.
The manager felt the lacklustre atmosphere didn't match what was happening on the pitch. He pointed out that England had received brilliant support in Serbia but found Wembley wanting on this occasion.
Former England defender Stephen Warnock backed up Tuchel's concerns during BBC Radio 5 Live's coverage.

He agreed the performance deserved better support and suggested fans should think about how they could help the team more.
Warnock reckoned creating organised fan groups might help get the atmosphere going at future matches. He still believes Tuchel will keep the fans onside though.
Meanwhile, Wales boss Craig Bellamy admitted his team got their "backsides kicked" in those opening 20 minutes.
