The Dane described the final moments of the game as “carnage” but believed his side deserved the victory.
Spurs’ win ended the home side's brilliant run at their fortress and lifted Spurs into second place in the Premier League.
"I think the character was the foundation," Frank told BBC. The Danish manager was particularly pleased with how his team handled the hostile Yorkshire atmosphere and difficult conditions.

It turns out Spurs needed every bit of that resilience. Despite dominating for some periods, they also had to weather a few nervy moments.
“Respect for Leeds and Eland Road,” Frank continued. “We knew very well the task ahead of us. We overcame that in a very good way. I thought we played overall a really good game.

“We should have got more out of the dangerous situations. I know they hit the post and the goal, and right at the end there was carnage, but for the rest of the game I thought we defended superbly.”
Mohammed Kudus was the star of the show, scoring one and setting up another in the wet conditions.
The midfielder's brilliant through ball found Mathys Tel, who unleashed a venomous strike - his first goal of the season.

Leeds hit back when Noah Okafor tapped in after Guglielmo Vicario could only parry Brenden Aaronson's effort - but Kudus wasn't done yet.
The former West Ham man danced across the penalty area before firing into the bottom corner to restore Spurs' advantage.
Both goals took deflections off Pascal Struijk, leaving keeper Karl Darlow helpless.

Frank was full of praise for individual performances. "I am so happy for Mo," he said about Kudus. "Obviously scoring the goal because he wanted it. Not just a goal but a winner in a tight game."
The Spurs boss was equally delighted for Tel, who's had a tough time recently. "He has had his set-backs so I am so, so happy for him," Frank explained.

"I felt that was Xavi Simons' best game for us," the manager said.

The victory was particularly sweet as it ended Leeds' impressive home record.
Daniel Farke's side hadn't lost a league match at Elland Road in over a year - their last defeat coming against Burnley in September 2024 in an equally narrow one-goal margin.
For Spurs, it's a massive boost. They're now sitting pretty in second place, just one point behind Liverpool at the top of the table.
It's also worth noting that this was Tottenham's first Premier League win after playing in Europe since February.
They'd gone eight matches without victory following European fixtures before this breakthrough.
Three wins from four away games this season tells its own story about the progress made under Frank.
