Football icon Landon Donovan has unveiled a dramatic new look, sporting a fresh hairpiece after reaching out to supporters for styling suggestions earlier this week.
The 43-year-old former Everton and LA Galaxy star posted a video on Friday showing his complete transformation, documenting the entire process from start to finish.
It's a remarkable change for the American legend, who's been open about his long battle with hair loss that began in his teenage years.
The reveal comes just days after Donovan asked fans to help him choose a hairstyle, admitting that previous hair transplant attempts hadn't worked out as hoped.

The video captures Donovan getting the top of his head completely shaved, revealing his baldness before the transformation begins.
He even joked that the bald-on-top, long-on-the-sides look "wasn't terrible" before his stylist returned with the hairpiece.
Viewers then watched as the wig was carefully attached and styled into a short, spiky cut that completely changed his appearance.

The clip ends with Donovan beaming at the camera, taking a selfie to show off his new look.
It's quite the journey from bare scalp to fresh hairstyle, and the former striker couldn't hide his happiness with the results.
Donovan shared an emotional message alongside the video, writing: "After years of trying different methods, I've finally tried a hair piece. I've been encouraged by your messages over the last few days."

The response from fans has been overwhelmingly positive, with supporters praising his openness about such a personal struggle.
"Good on ya mate, had me own struggles and it really effected me, and effects lots of men in general," one fan wrote.

Another supporter commented: "Think it looks great. Women get extensions, fake nails and eyelashes and don't feel embarrassed. You shouldn't be embarrassed about doing something that makes you feel good."
Donovan remains one of America's greatest footballers, having scored 57 goals for his country alongside Clint Dempsey as their joint-top scorer.
He's best remembered for his incredible MLS career, winning six league titles split between San Jose Earthquakes and LA Galaxy.
British fans will fondly recall his two loan spells at Everton, where he quickly became a favourite at Goodison Park with two goals and nine assists in 22 appearances.
The California native also had stints with Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich during his career.
His most iconic moment came at the 2010 World Cup when he scored that famous last-minute winner against Algeria.
