It was a happy day for travelling fans on Sunday with all three teams winning away from home in the 2pm kick-offs in the Premier League.

Chelsea ran rampant at Crystal Palace, who were reduced to 10 men, to give Liam Rosenior his biggest win since taking charge of the Blues.

Nottingham Forest earned themselves victory over Brentford as they continue their battle to stay in the Premier League.

While Aston Villa kept alive their slim hopes of a title battle by beating Newcastle in the north-east - with help from a stunning goal.

First up, Chelsea jumped ahead of Liverpool to find themselves fourth after beating Crystal Palace 3-0 at Selhurst Park.

After a shaky start, a bizarre backpass from Palace defender Jaydee Canvot saw Estevao Willian a clear run on goal.

The 18-year-old still had plenty to do, having half of football pitch still to run with Tyrick Mitchell scraping at his heels.

But the Brazilian remained composed, sprinting into the box before thumping an effort past Dean Henderson to give Chelsea the lead.

The Blues never looked back, as Joao Pedro doubled the lead after the break, having been released on goal by the mercurial Estevao.

Chelsea were then awarded a penalty after VAR checked a handball which Enzo Fernandez converted before Adam Wharton was sent off following a second yellow card.

Palace did get one back after some shoddy Chelsea defending from a set-piece as Chris Richards nodded in.

After the miserable defeat to Braga in the Europa League, Nottingham Forest were in dire need of some good news.

And they got exactly that in west London after a hard-fought win over Brentford, with Igor Jesus and Taiwo Awoniyi scoring, making sure the Midlands club landed all three points.

Head coach Sean Dyche has come under pressure this season, despite the club already sacking two managers this campaign in Nuno Espirito Santo and Ange Postecoglou.

With West Ham winning on Saturday, Forest's win makes sure the gap between them and the relegation zone remains at five points.

Newcastle 0-2 Aston Villa

Newcastle looked lacklustre on Sunday as Villa punished their every mistake, landing a big 2-0 win at St. James' Park.

Unai Emery's men did not look like a side that had not won at this ground since 2005, especially after their stunning opener.

It was a good day for Emi Buendia, whose rocket of a shot left Nick Pope scrambling, though the Newcastle defence were guilty of not closing the Argentina international down.

The Magpies simply could not find a way back and the result was confirmed late on when Ollie Watkins double the lead.

The England international could not believe his luck after Newcastle failed to clear their lines from a corner.

The ball eventually found itself to Lucas Digne, who picked Watkins out to convert - his sixth goal against Newcastle in 11 Premier League appearances.
