David Moyes has admitted that Seamus Coleman was 'really disappointed' to come off during Everton's 2-0 win over Southampton at Goodison Park on Sunday.
The Toffees won their final match courtesy of a brilliant brace from Iliman Ndiaye, with the 25-year-old reaching double figures for the season.
It was an emotional day at Goodison, with everybody associated with Everton making it an afternoon to remember.
Coleman has been a huge asset to the club over the years but, tragically, the right-back was forced out of the contest in the 18th minute due to injury.

Moyes, speaking to TNT Sports, has admitted that Coleman was 'disappointed' at having to come off.
He also hailed the Republic of Ireland international for everything he's given over the years, amid talk that his time on Merseyside is drawing to a close.
"He's really disappointed. He felt his thigh in the first half," he said.
"He has been a great servant and he certainly deserved to start today."

Moyes took over Everton back in January with the club previously struggling under the guidance of Sean Dyche.
The Scot has worked wonders, however, with the Toffees currently 13th in the Premier League table.
Moyes added: "This team will be remembered in history as the one who played the last game.
"I was more impressed by the atmosphere. There were times in the stadium when it was great. All the supporters in the ground as one together.

"We still have a bit to go but will enjoy it now. We did the job and got the three points.
"I've been here a while and I know what it means. It's been a great stadium."
Meanwhile, Jordan Pickford was among the Everton players looking visibly emotional at the full time whistle as fans created one last cauldron of noise at Goodison.
Reflecting on the occasion, he stated: "We needed a win. Ili scored two great goals.

"It's been a really good season and we have one more but the last game at Goodison will take some time to soak in.
"We would have liked to score four or five. We will go down in history as the last team to win at Goodison. That's what the manager asked of us today.
"The fans have been brilliant."
Ndiaye, who will hold the title of being the last goalscorer at Goodison, added: "It's very special [last goalscorer at Goodison]. I asked the referee to get the ball!
"It means a lot and I wanted to score a hat-trick. Since the day I came in they have been great, I wanted to give them a win today.
"The roar was amazing. It's an amazing day. They deserve it."
