Erik ten Hag has been sacked by Bayer Leverkusen after just two games in charge of the German side.
The Dutchman, who was axed by Manchester United last October, arrived as a replacement for Xabi Alonso earlier this summer following the Spaniard's move to Real Madrid.
Yet Ten Hag has struggled to make an impact at the BayArena, with Leverkusen winless in their first two matches.
They lost 2-1 to Hoffenheim on matchday one before throwing away a 3-1 lead to draw 3-3 with Werder Bremen on Saturday.

On Sunday, reports suggested that Ten Hag was set to be dismissed following Leverkusen's poor start to the new Bundesliga season.
And the club have now confirmed his exit. In a statement on X, they said: "Bayer 04 Leverkusen has parted ways with head coach Erik ten Hag with immediate effect.
"Training will be taken over by the assistant coaching staff for the time being."
Simon Rolfes, Leverkusen managing director, added: “This decision was not an easy one for us. Nobody wanted to take this step.
"However, the past few weeks have shown that building a new and successful team with this setup is not feasible.
"We firmly believe in the quality of our team and will now do everything we can to take the next steps in our development with a new setup.”

Football fans have since reacted to the news, which comes after Leverkusen lost key players such as Florian Wirtz and Jeremie Frimpong.
One supporter said: "A bit unfair tbh! Sold all the best players and got rid of him after the entire summer window?"
A second said: "He didn’t even last one month into the new season fgs."
A third reacted by saying: "This is ridiculous."
And another opined: "He is finished."

Ten Hag now faces a fight to build his managerial reputation.
He was seen as one of Europe's most exciting coaches during his time at Ajax, where he guided the club to the semi-finals of the Champions League in the 2018/19 season.
United brought him in as a permanent replacement for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in 2022, confident he'd bring the glory days back to Old Trafford.
Ten Hag's first year at the club was relatively successful, with the club finishing third in the Premier League table and winning the Carabao Cup.
But United's form nosedived in his second year, with the fallen giants finishing eighth.
After Ten Hag steered them to FA Cup glory at the expense of Manchester City in May 2024, he stayed on and signed an extension.
Yet he was axed in October after overseeing a dire start to the season, with Ruben Amorim drafted in as his replacement.

Amorim himself has since struggled to turn things around.
United have picked up just four points from a possible nine so far, while they were dumped out of the Carabao Cup by Grimsby Town on Wednesday.
Leverkusen, meanwhile, will now look for a new manager as they look to put the brief Ten Hag era firmly behind them.
