Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has positioned a substantial white mobile home on the grounds of his new Norfolk residence to provide accommodation for security personnel.

The 66-year-old, formerly known as the Duke of York, took delivery of the structure at Marsh Farm in Wolferton, which sits within the Sandringham Estate.

The temporary dwelling is understood to be necessary because his downsized property cannot house round-the-clock protection staff.

Marsh Farm, with its five bedrooms, represents a significant reduction from the 30-room Royal Lodge in Windsor that he previously occupied.

Removal vehicles were spotted at the property on Monday morning as preparations continue for his anticipated April move from Wood Farm cottage.

The mobile home arrived on the back of a lorry before being placed in the rear garden of the property.

It has been situated inside what was previously a stable block, in what appears to be an effort to conceal it from public sight.

Removal vans have been observed at the property in recent days, transporting his possessions into the five-bedroom farmhouse.

Among the items being moved were books, paintings and various personal effects marked as fragile.

Notably, several boxes still displayed "HRH" labels despite King Charles stripping him of his remaining titles last year.

The markings on the containers referenced "HRH office", "HRH sitting room" and "HRH meeting room".

Additional work has been carried out at the property in recent days, including the installation of grey kitchen blinds and the fitting of equestrian fencing as the stable facilities take shape behind the main building.

Recent weeks have seen considerable activity at Marsh Farm, with workmen installing a six-foot perimeter fence and CCTV cameras to enhance security and privacy.

A no-fly zone previously covering the Sandringham Estate has also been extended to encompass Marsh Farm.

Over the weekend, the disgraced former prince was observed taking a solitary 90-minute walk with his dog around the farm.

It was his first public sighting since leaving Aylsham Police station following 11 hours in custody on his birthday.

Norfolk Police is continuing its investigation into suspected misconduct in public office relating to his former role as special trade envoy for the United Kingdom.

The former royal has consistently denied any wrongdoing.

He also faces continued scrutiny following the release of US Government documents in January containing fresh details about his association with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
