A technology entrepreneur who previously worked as a DJ and NASA engineer has reportedly assembled a consortium to submit a £4.5billion offer for Tottenham Hotspur, which would represent the highest sum ever proposed for a football club.
Brooklyn Earick, 41, leads a group of twelve investors who are said to have structured their proposal to include £3.3billion for complete ownership of the north London club, currently held by ENIC and the Lewis family.
The consortium has earmarked an additional £1.2b specifically for player acquisitions, salaries and associated costs, funds that would become available for new boss Thomas Frank from January. It comes after the club spent more than £180m this summer.
According to The Sun, the total package would surpass the £4.25b that Todd Boehly's consortium paid for Chelsea in 2022.

Initial conversations between Earick's group and Tottenham's leadership are said to have began several months ago, with discussions intensifying during the past three weeks following Daniel Levy's exit as chairman.
The consortium has identified a £250m stadium naming rights agreement, addressing an issue that remained unresolved since venue's 2019 opening, with the club continuing with the 'Tottenham Hotspur Stadium'.
Earick aims to finalise the acquisition and secure Premier League approval by early December, enabling immediate activity during the January transfer window.

Earick's professional journey has taken numerous unexpected turns, beginning as a DJ performing across venues from Los Angeles to Ibiza before experiencing career burnout.
"I spent the better part of a decade as a DJ and music producer," Earick explained in a 2016 interview. "I was definitely burnt out towards the end."
He subsequently relocated to San Francisco, securing an electrical engineering internship at NASA Ames within their small spacecraft division, where he discovered computer programming.
His technology ventures have included the food-focused social media platform Phoodie, and a chief marketing role at media application Littlstar.
