Charles Leclerc was visibly emotional after winning the Monaco Grand Prix for the first time in his career.
The Ferrari driver put in a stellar display on Saturday to take pole position ahead of Oscar Piastri.
There was still plenty of work to do on Sunday with a red flag at the very start changing how teams approached the race.
Leclerc took some risks in backing up those fighting behind him to manage his tyres but also stop them from having an opportunity for a free pit stop.

The plan worked perfectly though as Piastri began to drop off in the final few laps to give Leclerc a free run at the chequered flag.
And the 26-year-old let out a huge roar on his team radio to celebrate his famous victory.
It ends what has been a torrid record for Leclerc in his home race having previously never been on the podium.
Leclerc held back tears as he was interviewed by Jenson Button where he spoke about the sacrifices his dad made to get him to F1.
"No words can explain that," he said.
"It's such a difficult race, I think the fact twice I've been starting on pole position and we couldn't quite make it makes it even better in a way.
"It means a lot, obviously. It's the race which made me dream of becoming a Formula 1 driver one day.
"15 laps to the end you're hoping nothing happens and the emotions are coming.

"My dad has given everything for me to be here and it was a dream of ours for me to race here and win here, so it's unbelievable."
Piastri ended up taking second with Carlos Sainz able to take the final podium spot to cap a great weekend for Ferrari.
And the Spaniard admitted he was delighted to see Leclerc stand on top of the podium at his home race.

"It was a tight one and a very bad feeling in lap one which very quickly turned into a really good feeling after getting reinstated in P3," he said.
"From thereon really, the race pace was good as we expect, it's just impossible to get past on the streets of Monaco.
"But I'm incredibly happy to see Charles win on his home Grand Prix.
"To be able to share this podium with him in P3 is great for the whole team, and it feels like we're getting stronger and stronger."
