Luke Littler has expressed confidence that he would triumph over Mo Farah in a viral half-marathon challenge that has captured attention on social media in recent weeks.
The 19-year-old darts sensation, speaking after claiming victory at the Aberdeen leg of Premier League Darts, acknowledged he would need to shed some weight before taking on the Olympic legend.
"Obviously let me lose a bit of timber and I'll be good to go," Littler told PDC Darts.
The two-time world darts champion believes his superior skills at the oche would more than compensate for any disadvantage in running ability against the decorated distance runner.
The proposed contest would require both competitors to complete a 501 checkout on a dartboard following each of the 13 miles in the half-marathon distance.
Littler's strategy hinges on his belief that the four-time Olympic gold medallist would struggle significantly with the darts element of the challenge.
"I don't think Mo Farah could take out 501 personally," the teenager explained.

"So as soon as I am done, nine darter, I am walking my next mile."
The young darts star, who previously admitted he was 'sick of seeing' the challenge discussed online, suggested that Farah's inexperience with arrows would effectively neutralise his considerable advantage as a runner.
Heavyweight boxer Dave Allen has emerged as a prominent advocate for the proposed event, revealing to talkSPORT that he had reached out to Farah directly in an effort to arrange the contest.
