The King travelled to Southport to meet some of the children that survived the attack today
King Charles has been mixing with members of the public on Southport after three children died in a horrific stabbing last month.
The monarch met with the victims and their families to offer both his condolences and his support than afterwards he greeted members of the public outside.
The King is expected to move on to the community fire station where he will thank the firefighters and emergency service members who risked their lives both during and after the event and with the riots that followed.
He will also be meeting faith leaders from all communities in the fire station.
