The Duchess of Sussex shared a video of herself dancing with Prince Harry in a hospital room ahead of the birth of her first child

GB News presenters Tom Harwood and Emily Carver found themselves in a heated exchange about Meghan Markle's latest social media post as Tom exclaimed: "I just don't care."

The debate erupted after the Duchess of Sussex shared a video of herself dancing with Prince Harry in a hospital room ahead of the birth of their second child.

The couple moved around the maternity ward to the Baby Momma dance song by Starrkeisha, with the Duchess appearing to twerk.

She captioned the post: "Four years ago today, this also happened. Both of our children were a week past their due dates... so when spicy food, all that walking, and acupuncture didn't work - there was only one thing left to do!"

The video was filmed in 2021 as they awaited their daughter's arrival, who was eventually born on June 4.

Discussing the viral clip sarcastically, GB News host Tom Harwood said: "Breaking news. Woman does dance."

LATEST DEVELOPMENTS

Co-host Emily Carver said: "Oh, but it's not just any woman. Yes. Meghan Sussex."

Tom said: "I know, it would make better television if I could muster up an opinion about it. You've got to be true to yourself. I just honestly cannot bring myself to care."

Emily responded: "I think I'm very interested in how people interact with each other.

"So it's not necessarily that it's Meghan or that it's Harry. It's that I find it just very interesting how they choose to market themselves.

"How they choose to communicate with themselves, how they've taken all sorts of different routes away from the Royal Family, yet they still pine for what it was to be a royal in certain ways, the way they were able to just say anything about the family yet claim to be victims. So I find it very interesting."

Tom said: "I completely understand when Harry brings out a book that has all this salacious news about the Royal Family.

"Absolutely. I'm right there with it. That's that's news that I care about, I do not care when Meghan brings out a new jam."

The video sparked fierce criticism from commentators, with Daily Mail columnist Sarah Vine launching a particularly scathing attack.

She dubbed Meghan "The Duchess of Privacy herself" and described the footage as "eye-popping, jaw-droppingly embarrassing."

Prince Harry had previously described the moment in his memoir, saying: "Nothing but joy and love in that room."

He explained: "We ate and ate and then did the Baby Mama dance around the hospital room."
