The 43-year-old Princess of Wales arrived with Prince William

Princess Kate brought regal glamour to Windsor Castle this evening as she attended the State Banquet hosted by King Charles and Queen Camilla in honour of US President Donald Trump and First Lady Melania Trump.

The 43-year-old Princess of Wales arrived with Prince William, turning heads in a shimmering gold gown by British designer Phillipa Lepley that featured long sleeves and a high neckline.

Her choice balanced timeless elegance with modern refinement, reflecting her well-known preference for classic eveningwear with subtle contemporary touches.

Kate complemented the gown with the Lover's Knot Tiara - famously loved by the late Princess Diana.

The Princess styled her hair down with bouncy waves and opted for a glowing complexion and a soft, smoky eye.

She finished the look with her iconic sapphire engagement ring.

This evening’s banquet, held in St George’s Hall with over 160 guests, is one of the grandest events in the royal calendar and a key moment of President Trump’s three-day visit.

For Kate, it continues a tradition of using state occasions to champion British couture and jewellery with historic resonance, ensuring her look is both a fashion statement and a nod to royal heritage.
