Sarah Ferguson could be set for a significant career shift after she had become a “virtual recluse,” according to a royal expert.
Ms Ferguson has been embroiled in controversy alongside her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, due to their links with convicted paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Andrew was stripped of his royal titles and served notice at Royal Lodge in recent weeks, and now Emily Andrews, a royal expert, has suggested that Ms Ferguson has made significant money writing a “warts and all” book on the royal family.
A source revealed to Ms Andrews: “Sarah has been left devastated by the fallout from the Epstein email scandal. She's on edge, panicking, and has become a virtual recluse in the past weeks.

Sarah Ferguson could be set to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry

“She has nothing left to lose now, so she could easily sell another autobiography in the US - it worked for Harry.”
The Duke of Sussex released his controversial memoir “Spare” in 2023, and reportedly sold over 3.2million copies during its opening week, with 1.4m sold across the UK, US, and Canada on the release day alone.
Sources close to the former duchess claimed that she would be “willing to spill everything” in exchange for a “nest egg for the rest of her life”.
They revealed: “With no substantial income coming in, Sarah is now looking to follow in the footsteps of Prince Harry and is willing to pen a tell-all memoir about her time with Andrew and how she was treated by the Royal Family after their split.
“She has a lot of diaries and evidence of the backstabbing, scandals and cover-ups. For the right amount of money she is willing to spill everything, but she's hoping to make enough money that it will give her a nice little nest egg for the rest of her life.
“She wants somewhere in the region of £10m and is actively open to offers. Money has never been an issue for Sarah. She spent more than she had and somebody else always picked up the tab.

“She's been very well taken care of over the years by various boyfriends, friends and acquaintances.
“Yet for the first time in a good while she is now seriously worried about how on earth she's going to maintain her lifestyle. She's too toxic to touch for every single brand and charity she'd previously worked with and even the lavish freebies she used to be gifted have stopped.
“It was quite normal for her to be invited to an expensive hotel or spa and given the five-star VIP treatment for a few days in exchange for her simply being there, but now nobody wants her,” they told the Express.

Royal author Andrew Lownie has also claimed that the former royal is concerned about where she will move to after leaving Royal Lodge.
He said: “Not sure Sarah herself knows where she is going. Switzerland, Portugal, Cotswolds, Windsor, London. For the moment she can stay at Royal Lodge until October.”
Ms Ferguson has been known for living an extravagant lifestyle; in his book Entitled, Mr Lownie alleged that by 1995, Ms Ferguson had accumulated debts totalling £3.7million.

Mr Lownie claimed: “I wrote in Entitled that at Sunninghill Park, there was a warehouse style room nicknamed 'Aladdin's Cave' which contained thousands of gifts.
“Similarly I'm told that there are so many unopened Amazon boxes at Royal Lodge that nobody knows quite what to do with them.”
