Maria Teresa Turrion Borrallo, the Spanish-born nanny who has looked after Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis since the eldest child's birth in 2013, has been honoured with a Royal Victorian Medal (Silver) in King Charles' New Year Honours list.
The recognition marks a tribute from the Prince and Princess of Wales to one of their most valued household staff members.
Borrallo has served the family for over a decade, caring for George, now 12, Charlotte, 10, and Louis, seven, throughout their childhoods.
The award acknowledges her dedicated service to William and Kate, both 43, as their trusted childcare provider.

Before joining the Wales household, Borrallo completed her training at Norland College in Bath, a prestigious institution specialising in childcare education.
The college, established in 1892, holds a worldwide reputation for excellence in early years education and training.
According to the college's website: "The curriculum at Norland has changed and progressed with the times to offer the most up-to-date academic childcare training courses and the highest practice standards in line with the latest research."
The institution emphasises that "every Norlander carries the responsibility of maintaining our reputation to the highest of standards."
During her initial years with the family, Borrallo typically remained in the background while William and Kate attended engagements unsuitable for young children, such as Trooping the Colour.
She memorably offered the public a glimpse of the young prince in 2015 when she lifted him to a window during the ceremony.
