Princess Kate released an adorable snap of Prince Louis yesterday to celebrate his sixth birthday
Former royal correspondent and GB News host Andrew Pierce has claimed that Princess Kate "changed her mind" about releasing a photograph for Prince Louis' birthday.
The future Queen marked her youngest son’s sixth birthday by uploading an adorable image of the six-year-old Prince beaming to the Kensington Royal social media pages.
However, at the beginning of the day royal fans grew concerned about the prospect of no image in a potential break from royal tradition.
The couple eventually posted a new photograph in the afternoon, despite having traditionally provided it to the press under an embargo the day before.
Alongside the sweet snap of the young prince lying in the grass, Kate wrote: “Happy 6th Birthday, Prince Louis! Thank you for all the kind wishes today.”
Speaking on GB News, Andrew said: "The picture is normally released the night before the birthday."
Mike Parry said: "Exactly, normally we wake up on the day of the birthday and the picture is on the front and I thought, that hasn't happened.
"I think that the royals must have had a big rethink yesterday but it is a day late."
