The Princess of Wales selected a refined combination for the significant event

Princess Kate showcased sophisticated business attire at today's Future Workforce Summit, where she addressed 80 British business leaders at London's Salesforce Tower.

The Princess of Wales's ensemble featured a new tailored grey Roland Mouret suit paired with elegant professional pieces that demonstrated her polished approach to royal engagements.

Kate's outfit featured the £565 Cascade Ruffle Blouse in sandwashed silk satin, a piece she previously wore to the Women's Rugby World Cup earlier this year.

She carried a black Panama leather Smythson East West Tote with zip detailing, an accessory she has owned since 2016.

Her jewellery selection included £3,750 earrings from Mappin & Webb's Empress collection, which draws inspiration from an exotic design originally created for the Queen of Siam.

The Princess also owns the coordinating Empress pendant necklace from the same collection.

These carefully chosen pieces created a professional yet approachable appearance suitable for addressing business leaders about early childhood investment initiatives.

The Princess of Wales selected a refined combination for the significant early childhood education event, appearing impeccably dressed for her speech on behalf of the Royal Foundation Business Taskforce for Early Childhood.

Her outfit choice reflected the summit's executive setting whilst maintaining her signature elegant style.

The carefully curated look complemented the gravitas of the occasion, where discussions centred on business investment in early years development, intending to support over one million babies and young children by 2026.

The groundbreaking summit, hosted by journalist Mishal Husain, brought together representatives from major companies including Aviva, NatWest, Iceland and Ikea.

Former England football manager Sir Gareth Southgate participated in discussions alongside psychologists from prominent universities worldwide.

According to Kensington Palace, the event focused on how business investment in early childhood can develop essential human skills required for future workforce success during an era of significant technological advancement. The initiative aims to benefit more than one million babies and young children by 2026.

The Princess delivered an impassioned address about her dedication to early years education and the significance of establishing connections with future generations.

She opened the proceedings with remarks about her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood's fundamental mission.

"My passion and the work of The Centre for Early Childhood stems from one essential truth: that the love we feel in our earliest years fundamentally shapes who we become and how we thrive as adults," Kate told the assembled business leaders.

The mother-of-three founded the Business Taskforce in March 2023, demonstrating unwavering dedication to what has been characterised as her life's work.

Royal insiders revealed that she remained the driving force behind a major Early Years report during her chemotherapy treatment last year, staying informed about every aspect despite her illness.

The Taskforce has introduced multiple initiatives, including funding for early years apprenticeships, leadership programmes, enhanced support for baby banks, and the creation of family-friendly spaces.

In August, Kate collaborated with her Royal Foundation Centre for Early Childhood to develop animated short films designed for professionals and volunteers supporting families.

Tomorrow evening, the Princess will join Prince William at the Royal Albert Hall for the Royal Variety Performance, where the couple will appear as guests of honour at the annual black-tie celebration.
