Princess Charlene of Monaco uses a clever strategy to "deal with controversies" concerning her marriage to Prince Albert II, a royal commentator has claimed.
The Prince and Princess of Monaco married on July 1, 2011, but their marriage has constantly fuelled negative rumours.
From pictures of the princess crying on her wedding day, to speculation surrounding her extended stay in South Africa to recover from a serious illness in 2021, Charlene and Albert's marriage is constantly under scrutiny.
In September, the 45-year-old princess released a statement to slam down any divorce rumours.

Charlene said: "There's nothing wrong with our marriage and I find the rumours to be draining and exhausting.
"I simply cannot understand where they come from.
"It feels to me like certain media or people want to see us split."
Dr Ed Owens, a royal author who wrote After Elizabeth: Can the Monarchy Save Itself?, spoke exclusively to GB News about Charlene's recent marital statement.

He claimed: “This is the way all Royal Families tend to try and deal with controversies, through press comments.
“It's a typical royal strategy that they're trying to play down the rumours by confronting them very directly, early on.
“They know that these rumours, because of social media, tend to get regurgitated.
“They turn into data, much like whispers, they turn into other stories.
