Prince William was told "calm down baldy" in a savage dig by a BBC DJ after the royal called his presenting abilities "average".
In an interview with Radio 1, the Prince of Wales didn't hold back his opinions about the 37-year-old broadcaster.
Greg James posted a video of the interaction on his social media, which showed Prince William telling fellow DJ Vick Hope, 34, that James was "average".
Chatting with Hope and her radio co-host Jordan North the 41-year-old prince said: "I’ve listened to Radio 1 since I was tiny, I’ve always listened to it and I’ve heard many of you guys come and go – all the presenters over the years.

"So I can definitely say with great purpose that Greg James is an average DJ and Jordan and Vick are the future."
James posted the clip, which took place during Prince William and Princess Kate's trip to Birmingham, on his Instagram page, along with his reaction.
The video switched to a close-up view of the offended star’s face in the studio.
James began: "I don’t really know how to… they don’t really have a go at anyone.

"My nan’s going to be cross! When I listened to it my initial reaction was, 'Alright calm down baldy!'
"But you can’t say that in retaliation so I would never say that on the radio – but yeah, weird one."
The radio presenter then read out the listener’s texts to his audience.
One fan suggested James should "egg [William's] house", to which he replied: "I would b****y love to egg his house."

The DJ captioned the clip on Instagram: "Where’s good to bulk buy eggs?"
However, the interaction did not go unnoticed by William and Kate's social media accounts.
The 41-year-old prince commented underneath: "We love you really Greg! W."
James's wife Bella Mackie, who is a bestselling author, also joked: "Barney is a Republican now," referencing the couple's labrador dog.
