Princess Beatrice and Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi have been celebrated for their “cute and modern” approach to marriage and family life.

The 37-year-old princess and her 41-year-old property developer husband married in July 2020, a year after their romance became public.


The couple share Christopher ‘Wolfie’ Woolf, Edoardo's son from a previous relationship, and two daughters of their own.

Sienna Elizabeth who was born in September 2021, and Athena Elizabeth Rose, born earlier this year in January, have been welcomed as part of their blended family.

Juliet Angu, a close friend of the couple and star of The Real Housewives of London, celebrated Beatrice and Edoardo’s example.

“They’re the sweetest and they’re adorable,” she said.

Ms Angu continued: “I see them at Glastonbury and at dinner parties, and I love their relationship and how cute and modern they are.

I love that they’re a blended family – rules don’t have to be such big rules anymore,” she told Hello! Magazine.

The couple, who have maintained a low profile in recent years while raising their two daughters, Sienna, three, and Athena, six months old, have been gradually returning to public events.

Beatrice and Eugenie went incognito at the Wilderness Festival earlier this summer as they joined thousands of music fans at the four-day event in the Cotswolds, taking place from July 30 to August 2.

According to sources, the royal couple were looking “a little green around the gills” by Saturday, the second night of the festival.

The insider told the Mail: “They were up for partying but were clearly a bit... tired, let’s say, from Friday night.

They were also recently spotted in the crowd along the Mall to congratulate the Lionesses after their historic win against Spain in Basel.

The celebration also proved to be the first proved to be the first public appearance of baby Athena.

Wolfie was additionally in toe for the blended family outing.

Romance between the Duke of York's eldest daughter and the Italian businessman became public knowledge in 2019 when they appeared together at London's National Portrait Gallery.

Their engagement followed months later in September 2019, announced through social media with photographs from Italy.

The pandemic altered their wedding plans, resulting in an intimate ceremony at Windsor's Royal Chapel of All Saints in July 2020.

The celebration took place with Queen Elizabeth II's blessing, replacing their original St James's Palace venue.
