Meghan Markle has shared her and Princess Lilibet’s heartwarming reaction to a surprise gift from Prince Harry.
The Duchess of Sussex took to social media with a video of the moment the mother and daughter pair discovered the present.
“Morning surprise from my husband,” Meghan captioned the video, alongside an adoring emoji, which showed the item propped up against a kitchen island in her Montecito home.

The video revealed Harry’s gift was a large, framed photograph of the Duchess and their beloved late Beagle, Guy, frolicking in the garden.

|Princess Lilibet, clad in pink pyjamas, could be seen excitedly skipping around the room before sweetly plating a kiss on the picture of Guy.
The picture, rendered in black and white, was set in a tasteful silver frame and adorned with a delicate white gift ribbon.
In the image, Meghan could be seen laying on her back and grinning towards the camera while Guy scrambled on top of her.
Meghan’s heartwarming insight was appropriately set to the song My Guy by Mary Wells.

|The photo of the Duchess and Guy was one of those shared to announce the sad passing of the beloved Beagle in March earlier this year.
Guy had been by Meghan's side since 2015, when she adopted him from a Canadian rescue organisation.
“I have cried too many tears to count - the type of tears that make you get in the shower with the absurd hope that the running water on your face will somehow make you not feel them, or pretend they’re not there. But they are. And that’s okay too,” the Duchess wrote in a tribute post at the time
“Thank you for so many years of unconditional love, my sweet Guy. You filled my life in ways you’ll never know,” she concluded.

|She accompanied the lengthy tribute to Guy with a picture and video compilation, including the image Harry recently had framed.
Guy made his last appearance alongside Meghan in the first series of her Netflix lifestyle programme, With Love, Meghan.
The second season of the show debuted on Tuesday August 26 with a host of celebrity guest appearances.
Some royal may have been left disappointed as neither Princess Lilibet, her brother Prince Archie or Prince Harry featured in the new series.

|As such, the latest clip shared by Meghan of her four-year-old daughter on social media was sure to delight.
While her family did not feature directly, the Duchess did reveal several insights.
Early on in the series, Meghan divulged that Archie and Lilibet “really want a cat” and described her son as “tender” and “sweet”.
She also recalled that the longest time she and Harry ever spent apart from the children was nearly three weeks.
“I was not well,” Meghan admitted, hinting that this coincided with the period following Queen Elizabeth II’s death, when Meghan and Harry returned to the UK.
