Princess Anne shocked fans as she turned back the clock during her visit to Singapore alongside her husband, Sir Tim Lawrence.

The Princess Royal was in Singapore this week to mark 60 years of diplomatic relations between the UK and Singapore, which became a member of the Commonwealth in October 1965.

During her visit to the Rolls-Royce Seletar Campus, royal fans were quick to notice the 75-year-old was wearing a tan safari suit she had first worn over 50 years ago.

Royal fans took to social media when they noticed the memorable outfit being worn once again.

One royal fan said: “Princess Anne is the Queen of recycling!”

Another said: “Princess Anne has completely outdone herself bringing back this outfit!”

A third wrote: “Great to see such an iconic look return.”

The Princess was seen in the same outfit in July 1973, when she was photographed with her first husband, Captain Mark Phillips, attending a polo match at Smith’s Lawn in Windsor Park.

She was seen in the ensemble again at Heathrow in 1975, as she returned from an equestrian event in Boston with Philips, an Olympic gold medalist in the event.

Anne and Philips were married from 1973 to 1992, and share two children, Peter Philips and Zara Tindall.

The Princess Royal decided to change up her look in later years, opting to wear the safari outfit with a blouse underneath, matching the retro collar and rolling up her sleeves.

Anne and Laurence, who have been married since 1992, both took part in pilot training simulations at the Airbus Asis training centre in Singapore during their visit.Anne sat at the controls of an Airbus A350, buckling herself into the seat before laughing during her safety briefing with the captain. The simulator had a screen mimicking a runway through the front windows, which shook as they moved through the air.She also took the time to admire the huge Rolls-Royce jet engines and signed the visitors' book, which lay open in front of the Trent XWB engines that power the A350.

The Prince and Princess of Wales also signed the visitors' book in 2012 when they visited the Seletar campus, as part of their tour of Southeast Asia and the South Pacific, celebrating the late Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

Anne and Sir Tim were met with a round of applause from dozens of staff as they exited the building.

The couple travelled to Singapore following a four-day tour of Australia, and despite challenging weather conditions, pushed ahead with their stacked itinerary.

The Princess Royal's first engagement on day one involved a solemn ceremony at Kranji War Cemetery, where she serves as President of the Commonwealth War Graves Commission.
