Following the appearance with the girls, Meghan spoke with journalist Kaitlyn Greenidge, who documented various notable occurrences that came across as deliberate staging choices.
She was left bewildered by the Duchess's ceremonial introduction.
The conversation took place across several locations as the Duchess promoted her upcoming Netflix Christmas special.
The journalist noted formal royal-style introductions in near-empty settings and unexpected theatrical gestures at high-profile venues.

The house manager made a formal proclamation of "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex" upon Ms Greenidge's arrival, despite the absence of any audience beyond the journalist herself.

The interview comes as Meghan prepares for the launch of her festive television series next month.
