The King's nephew wed his beloved NHS nurse in a heartwarming and star-studded ceremony this afternoon

Peter Phillips and Harriet Sperling tied the knot this afternoon, in heartwarming ceremony attended by most of the senior Royal Family members.

King Charles and Queen Camilla, the Prince and Princess of Wales and the Princess Royal were just some of the distinguished family members who made the trip to All Saints Church in the village of Kemble, Gloucesteshire.

Ms Sperling, who wore a beautiful high-necked gown complemented by a full veil designed by Emilia Wickstead as she made her entrance at the Cotswolds venue, gave touching nods to both Princess Anne, her new mother-in-law, and Peter's late grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.

After around an hour-long ceremony, the happy couple departed as Mr and Mrs Phillips, ready for their reception at Gatcombe Park, home of Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Lawrence.

Below, GB News has collected some of the best moments from this afternoon's special event.

Among the first guests to arrive this afternoon were Lady Natasha Rufus Isaacs, the co-founder of the luxury fashion label Beulah, a brand often worn by Catherine and Ms Sperling, and her husband Rupert Finch, who dated the Princess of Wales while both studying at the University of St Andrews in 2001
