The princesses have not been seen at a Royal Family gathering since February

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie have arrived their first Royal Family gathering since the arrest of their father, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor.

The sisters showed up in the Cotswolds this afternoon, where their cousin Peter Phillips is tying the knot with NHS nurse Harriet Sperling.

The wedding has been dubbed a "private affair," but the ceremony at All Saints Church in Kemble will likely bring together some of the most senior members of the Royal Family in the picturesque Cotswolds village.

The King and Queen will be present, before they dash off to Surrey for the Epsom Derby, while the Prince and Princess of Wales are also expected to attend alongside the groom's mother, Princess Anne, and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will not be in attendance.

Also not making the trip over is Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, nor his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, though their children are anticipated to make an appearance, according to The Sun.

It marks their first public outing with the rest of the family since their father's arrest on suspicion of misconduct in public office in February 19, his 66th birthday.

Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has strenuously denied any wrongdoing in regard to his links with Jeffrey Epstein or any personal benefit during his time as trade envoy.

Eugenie, who is heavily pregnant, wore a navy blue midi coat dress, paired with blue block-heel sandals and a headpiece. She also strolled in with her husband, Jack Brooksbank.

Neither daughter of the former Duke of York has appeared at a royal occasion since February's dramatic events.

Both sisters were absent from the Easter Sunday service in April, having received the King's permission to miss the occasion.

As for Peter and Harriet, the loved-up couple were joined by Zara Tindall as they attended rehearsals yesterday evening, cutting both relaxed and joyous figures ahead of their big day today.

An increased police presence was observed in the quiet village during the rehearsals, situated close to both Highgrove and Gatcombe Park, where the wedding reception is anticipated to take place.

The couple first stepped out publicly together at the Badminton Horse Trials in May 2024, with their romance progressing swiftly.

They confirmed their engagement in August last year, with both families declaring themselves "delighted" by the news.

Peter proposed with a ring carrying a touching tribute to his late grandmother, the Queen, having been crafted by the same jeweller who designed her iconic 1946 engagement ring.

The wedding date was officially announced in April this year.

Peter, who sits 19th in the line of succession, and Harriet, 45, have been described by friends as appearing "so comfortable together."
