Meghan Markle has appeared to go quiet online after her rosé wine unsurprisingly sold out at the beginning of July.

The Duchess of Sussex's most recent Instagram post on her account @meghan was shared on July 4 - America's Independence Day.

Meghan, 43, captioned her post: "Our second date was the 4th of July 2016 and H brought me cupcakes to celebrate. Now, all these years later, our two children are in on the tradition.

"Happy Independence Day! May your day be as sweet as these cupcakes."

The post appeared to show Prince Harry and Meghan's son, Prince Archie, reaching for a homemade cupcake.

Despite Meghan's social media silence, her lifestyle brand, As Ever, has continued to share small updates on its Instagram story of its followers enjoying the company's newly released rosé wine.

The beverage, released on July 1 and immediately sold out, is "inspired by a Provençal-style" and "harvested in the stunning wine country of Napa Valley", according to its description.

The social media team at As Ever has been sharing photographs and videos of people attempting the wine, as well as other products curated by Meghan, such as her "Limited-Edition Orange Blossom Honey".

However, Meghan's personal Instagram account has been silent for seven days.

Since the Duchess of Sussex launched her social media handle on January 1, 2025, she has regularly posted family updates and brand announcements.

Prince Archie, six, and Princess Lilibet, four, have also appeared on their mother's Instagram, albeit with their faces shielded from the camera.

Meghan's social media silence comes after she issued an apology to As Ever customers, as a stock issue with her apricot spread resulted in unfulfilled orders and refunds.

Fans who purchased the limited-edition spread on June 20 were informed via email that the product had been oversold due to “high demand” and could not be shipped. However, the company promised refunds by the end of the week.

In a move praised by Meghan‘s fans, As Ever also offered a free jar to affected customers once the product was restocked.

“Due to high demand, we are unable to fulfil your order of the apricot spread at this time,” the company email read. “We are refunding the purchase of this item by the end of this week.

“In addition to the refund, we want you to know that when the apricot spread is back in stock, you will be the first to receive it, free of charge.”
