Duchess of Sussex has been distancing herself from Harry's projects
Angela Levin has shed light on Meghan Markle and Prince Harry ‘separating’ from their joint brand, after the Duke of Sussex made solo appearances at the WellChild Awards in London and the start of the Invictus Games in Dusseldorf.
Speaking on Dan Wootton Tonight, Prince Harry’s royal biographer shared her insight into the debate that Meghan Markle wants to ‘separate from the Sussex brand’, despite her appearance at the Invictus Games.
Angela said: “This is the ultimate hypocrisy that she shows - she can't understand that if you say something that's really important, you need to make sure that you're doing it properly too. But she doesn't do that.
“She has the right to say these nonsensical things that she would never dream of saying.”
Levin continued: “I don't think she wants to move from the Princess because I think she was thrilled she was called 'warrior Princess' very much. She liked that.
“But I think it's just that she's doing it all herself. She doesn't need the royal family. She can do it. She's so pleased she can and she will. She'll do anything that people will have her in, photographs taken and crowding around her.”
