The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have 'alienated themselves from the Royal Family' according to an insider

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have "damaged themselves" over the course of the last year, as claimed by a royal insider who spoke exclusively to GB News.

The Duke of Sussex released his explosive memoir Spare in January this year, and according to a YouGov poll, this is when his popularity in the UK plummeted even more.

At the end of 2022, 40 percent of Britons polled said that they liked Prince Harry, however, by the beginning of 2023, this number had dropped to just 27 percent.

Similarly, the Duchess of Sussex's popularity slumped from 29 percent at the end of 2022, to just 23 percent in January.

The duke was very open in his autobiography about rifts with his brother Prince William, as well as his sister-in-law Princess Kate and his father King Charles.

This included an account of the Prince of Wales allegedly "knocking [Harry] to the floor" during a confrontation in London in 2019.

Meghan and Harry additionally criticised the Royal Family in their Netflix documentary, which was released in December 2022.

During the series, the prince claimed his brother "screamed" at him when he tried to leave the Royal Family.

Lady Victoria Hervey, who dated Prince Andrew briefly in 1999, spoke exclusively to GB News about whether or not the Duke and Duchess of Sussex have damaged the Royal Family brand with their public attacks.

The 46-year-old said: "I don’t think they have damaged it as a whole, but they have damaged themselves and alienated themselves from the Royal Family and the country as a whole.

"Prince Harry is definitely less popular according to the polls through his constant attacks on the family."

Hervey discussed the possibility of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex having a future in the UK.
