Meghan Markle has entered into a partnership with OneOff, a global fashion marketplace, to address a longstanding frustration about designer attribution.

The platform enables the Duchess of Sussex to share outfits while ensuring proper recognition for creators, and allows followers to purchase the same pieces.


"Over the last several years, I would hear about an incorrect designer getting credit for something I wore, either via affiliate links or press, and that never seemed fair," she explained.

"Credit where credit is due. These brands and designers work so hard and take great pride in their work, and I choose them for a reason."

Meghan showcased an impressive 16 Australian fashion labels during her recent trip to the country, demonstrating that the so-called "Meghan Effect" remains as potent as ever.

The Duchess of Sussex, who acts as her own stylist, deliberately selected local designers to celebrate Australian craftsmanship throughout her visit.

"I love being able to wear local designers and celebrate the craftsmanship that's happening in whatever region I'm travelling to," she told Australian Women's Weekly.

The impact on sales was immediate and substantial. Karen Gee's navy Priscilla dress sold out within just two hours of the duchess wearing it, while Friends With Frank's camel Lou car coat and khaki Anja sack dress disappeared from shelves within 48 hours.

Among the labels featured were Karen Gee, Scanlan Theodore, St. Agni, Camilla and Marc, Matteau, P Johnson, Beare Park, Paspaley, Friends With Frank and Rolla's Jeans.

The duchess expressed particular fondness for St. Agni, noting: "St Agni is a label I've worn a lot over the last few years. I love what the brand stands for, with its white-shirt campaign that raises funds for cancer research."

She paired the brand's suede bomber jacket and pencil skirt with a P Johnson turtleneck, describing it as a look she "really loved."

For a more playful aesthetic, she opted for a 1960s-inspired Friends with Frank shift dress, accessorised with sheer black tights and vintage earrings sourced from The RealReal.

Regarding Scanlan Theodore, which she previously wore in 2018, the duchess explained her preference for tonal dressing: "It looks streamlined, but I also find it a lot easier to put a look together that way."

One ensemble held particular sentimental value: her MasterChef Australia appearance in Matteau and Camilla and Marc.

"A button-down shirt and sleek pencil skirt felt very 'Rachel Zane' from my Suits days," she reflected.

The duchess is also marking a personal milestone, with her son Archie turning seven on May 6, 2026.

To commemorate the occasion, she has introduced Signature Candle No. 506 to her As Ever product line, timed for Mother's Day.

The number references Archie's birthday, while the ginger scent pays tribute to the red hair shared by both father and son.

Sharing her love for the Oceania country, Meghan told the publication: “My husband and I have such an affinity for Australia. I said to him the day we were flying out, 'The only thing better than Australia are Australians.'"
