Meghan Markle’s mystery diamond studs have been dubbed "the ultimate accessory" by a jewellery expert, as they were the main jewellery choice for both her Paris Fashion Week looks.
The Duchess of Sussex chose simple diamond stud earrings from an unknown brand, exemplifying "timeless elegance", jewellery expert James Harris told GB News.
Meghan attended the Balenciaga Spring/Summer 2026 runway show in Paris on October 4, 2025.
The duchess was seated in the front row at the city’s Carrousel du Louvre venue, joining guests from across the fashion industry, including Dame Anna Wintour.
This marked the former working royal’s first European return in over two years.
Mr Harris, Austen & Blake’s Regional Sales Manager, said Meghan’s diamond studs added polish to her ensemble without overpowering it.
He said: “Meghan added subtle detail to her outfit with diamond studs, the ultimate accessory for any jewellery lover.
“Diamond studs are endlessly versatile. Practical for daily wear and special occasions alike, they complement both casual and formal settings.”

He also pointed out their adaptability: “They suit any face shape, as your choice of diamond shape and carat weight can change the look and feel of a pair of earrings.”
At the event, Meghan wore her hair in a sleek, back bun and a high-necked cape.
Mr Harris told the People's Channel that this styling ensured the earrings remained prominent.
He observed: “Meghan’s slicked-back bun and the high neck of her cape draw attention to her earrings without competing like a heavier style might.

“It shows that understated elegance can elevate an outfit.”
Meghan’s Paris Fashion Week appearance was noted for its understated glamour.
The duchess wore a white cape and matching floor-length gown for the Balenciaga show before changing into a black cape dress for a private dinner in the city.
Both looks featured the same simple diamond studs from an unknown brand, paired with natural makeup and minimal accessories.
By keeping her accessories minimal at a major fashion event, the Duchess of Sussex maintained her reputation for refined, understated style that prioritises simplicity over excess.
Regarding Meghan's attendance, her spokesman told GB News: "Meghan, Duchess of Sussex attended the Balenciaga show in Paris on Saturday night in support of Pierpaolo Piccioli, who recently assumed the role of Creative Director for the House.
"This marks her first time back to the shows in over a decade. Over the years, the Duchess has worn a number of designs by Pierpaolo.
"They have worked closely together collaborating on design for key moments on the world stage.
