Meghan Markle has faced fierce criticism after posting a video of herself twerking whilst pregnant in a hospital delivery suite, with commentators arguing it contradicts the couple's extensive legal battles over privacy and security.
One royal fan described the footage as "crass and vulgar", questioning how it aligns with the Sussexes' previous stance on media boundaries.
In 2020, it was understood that Prince Harry and Meghan wanted to step back from their roles as senior royals to live a more private life.
Many have highlighted the apparent contradiction between demanding privacy whilst sharing intimate hospital footage with millions of Instagram followers.

Meghan shared the video on Instagram on Wednesday, showing herself and Prince Harry dancing in a hospital delivery suite.
At the time, she was pregnant with their daughter, Lilibet, who is now four years old.
The footage featured the Duchess performing dance moves to Starrkeisha's viral hit "The Baby Momma Dance", whilst the Duke danced alongside her.
When Meghan and Harry attend high-profile events, they are often accompanied by massive security cordons for their protection.

The Sussexes have also launched several lawsuits against the British press for invasion and intrusion.
However, in 2022, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex said they never cited privacy as a reason for stepping back from royal life.
The couple's global press secretary said a "distorted narrative" had been created and it was "entirely untrue".
Many Sussex fans loved the footage, with one writing on social media: "Y’all look at my faves acting a fool together, all in love and making the haters mad. I love them so much."
