This month, Meghan has stepped out in Paris, New York and Washington DC in an unusual flurry of engagements.
The duchess made a solo trip to France for Paris Fashion Week before jetting to New York, where the couple were named Humanitarians of the Year at the Project Healthy Minds gala.
On Tuesday evening, Meghan attended the Fortune Most Powerful Women Summit 2025 in Washington DC.

Mark Borkowski, a leading PR expert, stated that each of the Duchess of Sussex’s public appearances tied her to a different industry or cause.
Mr Borkowski told the Mail: “She is trying her hand to re-enter the global stage without waiting for an invitation.
“Fashion for the eyeballs, humanitarianism for the legitimacy, Washington for the gravitas.

Earlier this week it emerged that Meghan Markle requested an invitation to Paris Fashion Week.
The Duchess of Sussex made her first visit to Europe in more than two years when she stepped out with Balenciaga's designer Pierpaolo Piccioli.
Meghan said that her appearance in Paris was “the culmination of many years of friendship” with the fashion designer.
However, Mr Piccioli revealed that the duchess asked him if she could attend the event rather than him sending her an invite.

He described Meghan’s attendance as a “beautiful surprise” and had helped keep her Paris visit to his show secret.
Piccioli said: “Meghan and I met some years ago, and we've been texting ever since. She reached out and said she'd love to come to the show”.
He added: “There was no strategy or big orchestration.
“I didn't tell anyone she was coming because I wanted it to stay a surprise. In fashion, real surprises are rare, and this one was beautiful.”
A fashion insider hailed the Paris trip as a breakthrough for the Duchess of Sussex.
They said: “Paris was a ‘moment’ for her. It's the first positive PR she's had in years.”
