Laurence Fox has hit out at the “crass and pathetic” move by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to partner their group, Archewell, with a charity that “challenges limiting gender stereotypes.”

“What’s so concerning is, these spoilt little Sussexes with their horribly divisive agenda want the end of the family.

“That should be a red line, it is for me.”

It comes as the Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their Archewell Foundation is “investing in gender equity” via the Global Boyhood Initiative.

Dan Wootton questioned the move, pointing out at the couple’s decision to announce the birth of Archie with a blue photo.

He said: “During the Oprah Winfrey interview, Harry announced to the world he was having a girl.

“When Archie was born, they used the colour blue for the picture which is terrible for this organisation because blue is considered a boy colour.

“They don’t believe it when it’s their own family, so why do they push it on us?”

Laurence Fox responded: “They are the exact thing they accuse you of. They accuse the whole of Britain of racism when they are being racist themselves.

“It’s just so crass and pathetic, we see what the side effects are which is the celebration of sexual deviants in society.

“I think it’s probably time that people in this country turn around and say: ‘We don’t do that here’.”

The organisation is already working in UK schools via a curriculum pilot and asks primary school kids to question what they describe as ‘gender norms’ which are ‘not tied to sex organs’.

The initiative is calling for boyhood to be “fluid”, and has run workshops with staff at Ravenstone School in Balham and Sherwood Primary School, Mitcham, according to the Daily Mail.

The organisation, now partnered with Harry and Meghan’s organisation, has accused parents of “gendering” unborn children.

An announcement on the Archewell website last November said: “Inspired by Archetypes, the Archewell Foundation has partnered with Equimundo's (fka Promundo) Global Boyhood Initiative on a guide for promoting gender equity by fostering positive masculinity in boys and men.

“Equimundo's trainings, tools and resources are actively promoting healthy and equitable masculinities starting at an early age.

“Equimundo works to achieve gender equality and social justice by transforming intergenerational patterns of harm and promoting patterns of care, empathy and accountability among boys and men throughout their lives.”
