King Charles III received Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Windsor Castle on Monday for a private audience and lunch.
The meeting comes as the Ukrainian leader prepares for Tuesday's crucial Nato summit in The Hague.
The monarch and Zelensky were photographed walking together through the castle's Grand Corridor, with the King dressed in a grey suit whilst Mr Zelensky wore his characteristic black attire.

The UK and Ukrainian leaders will discuss defence matters and strategies to intensify pressure on Russia.
The visit occurred as Ukraine reeled from devastating overnight Russian strikes that claimed at least 10 civilian lives, with seven fatalities reported in Kyiv alone.
Russia launched 352 drones and 16 missiles in the assault.
This marked the second meeting between the King and Mr Zelensky this year, following their March encounter at Sandringham House in Norfolk where they took tea in the property's Saloon room for an hour.

The pair have met on multiple occasions since Russia's invasion, including at Buckingham Palace in February 2023 and at the European Political Community summit in Oxfordshire in July 2024.
The royal audience served as a prelude to Mr Zelensky's anticipated discussions with the Prime Minister, where the Ukrainian president indicated he would focus on bolstering his nation's defensive capabilities.
