Has King Charles's visit to Donald Trump's White House been delayed?
It is an open secret that King Charles and Queen Camilla are expected to embark on a State Visit to the United States of America, marking the 250th anniversary of the country's confederation.
However, neither Buckingham Palace nor Downing Street have confirmed it is taking place, leading to a lot of speculation about the possibility of the trip being postponed or cancelled altogether.
President Trump has persistently criticised Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer's response to the 2026 Iran war.
The US President called the UK's approach to Iran "terrible" and framed the Prime Minister's actions as slow, reluctant and unhelpful.
He also claimed Sir Keir was "no Winston Churchill" on two separate occasions.
Sir Keir has taken a cautious approach to the conflict, refusing to join the initial strikes on Iran, and delaying allowing the US to use UK bases for "defensive" action.
This spat, some believe, has damaged the UK-US special relationship, just months after the King's Royal Charm Offensive where he welcomed President Trump to Windsor Castle for an unprecedented second State Visit.
Several Labour backbenchers, and the leader of the Liberal Democrats, Sir Ed Davey, have publicly called for Their Majesties' visit across the Atlantic to be postponed.
However, the leader of the Conservative Party, Kemi Badenoch, told GB News that the State Visit should go ahead.
"We want to maintain a relationship with our closest ally. They defend this country in ways that many, many citizens have no idea of. Sharing security and defence intelligence that has kept this country safe. I do not want to jeopardise that because Keir Starmer is making a mess of things," she said.
Perhaps Sir Keir hasn't made up his mind on whether to send the King to woo the US President, potentially repairing the relationship between Washington, DC and London.
I understand planning has been going on for months for this important visit, but royal sources tell me it is up to the UK Government to make the final decision.
The visit will reportedly be scheduled for the end of April, with King Charles and Queen Camilla visiting Washington, DC, New York, and a third location.
If it happens, my money is on Philadelphia - the location where the Declaration of Independence was primarily signed in 1776.
However, if the State Visit is not officially announced in the next week or so, I suspect Palace and Government officials will be hoping to quietly shelve the trip, even if it risks further antagonising President Trump.

Prince William shows 'leadership' in solving global problem
The Prince of Wales is attempting to make the United Kingdom a "world leader" in solving homelessness, and brought delegations from around the world to Bournemouth on Thursday to learn from the progress made there.
The English coastal town is part of the Prince William's Homewards programme: a five-year plan to demonstrate homelessness can be ended, making it rare, brief and unrepeated.
International delegations from Australia, Canada, Belgium, the Netherlands and Finland came to see how the area is focused on preventing youth homelessness through early intervention.
Nearly a million young people in the UK are NEET (not in education, employment or training) and at risk of homelessness.
Lack of decent opportunities, poor mental health and long-term sickness can increase the risk of homelessness, according to Kensington Palace.
The Prince took the delegates to the Bourne Academy to see the Homewards-funded 14-16 curriculum designed to help students at risk of exclusion or falling into the NEET category.
Vocational skills, confidence-building and pastoral support are offered to increase the chances of students staying in education and reduce the risk of them becoming homeless.
Mark Avoth, Principal of The Bourne Academy, told GB News: "[Prince William] is able to put you at ease with his knowledge and his sense of humour, and so he actually made it very easy to show him around the Academy, and that was a pleasure, really.
"Ultimately, the narrative around homelessness has to change and that negative connotation around the word.
"Having someone like Prince William coming to our academy and speaking on an international level around it will break down the barriers, because it's so important."
The royal visit to Bournemouth was an example of Prince William's soft power in action.
The future King has managed to persuade international representatives to travel thousands of miles to England's south coast to see how the local area is trying to tackle an issue once seen as unsolvable.
Perhaps this is William's attempt to show leadership as a global statesman and future king.

The Prince and Princess of Wales's unique regal portrait
The Prince and Princess of Wales this week collaborated with a young British-Nigerian photographer, Christianah Ebenezer, on a regal portrait ahead of the Nigerian State Banquet at Windsor Castle.
The King hosted the banquet in honour of President Bola Tinubu, who sat next to the Princess of Wales during the banquet.
The photograph depicts the future King and Queen in Windsor with a backdrop of free flowers and trailing foliage.
It was the young photographer's first time working with Prince William and Catherine, but it was not her first royal rodeo.
Last year, Ms Ebenezer took the official 60th birthday portraits of the Duchess of Edinburgh.
Speaking about the Waleses' portrait, Ms Ebenezer said: "It was a true honour to collaborate on this piece. Blending our shared creativity with elements of classic portraiture and nature, the team worked seamlessly to capture this moment ahead of the Nigerian State Banquet – something I'm deeply humbled to have seen come together so beautifully."
Ms Ebenezer was born in Lagos, Nigeria, before moving to London as a child.
During Wednesday's State Banquet, the Princess of Wales wore a green dress by Andrew Gn, the Lover's Knot Tiara (once worn by Princess Diana), earrings that once belonged to Queen Elizabeth II, as well as the King Charles III Royal Family Order and the Royal Victorian Order Sash and Star.
Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales wore white tie with a Windsor tail coat, the Most Noble Order of the Garter Sash with the Lesser George.
His Royal Highness also wore the Order of Bath, Golden Jubilee, Diamond Jubilee, Platinum Jubilee and Coronation miniature medals.
His Chest Orders included the Most Noble Order of the Garter and the Most Ancient and Most Noble Order of the Thistle.
Prince William also wore the Great Master of the Most Honourable Order of Bath Neck Order.
