Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi has posted photographs on his Instagram story indicating he is currently in Florida, after suffering a setback with his company, Banda Property.
In one image, Mr Mapelli Mozzi appeared to be walking through a multi-storey boat storage facility with the on-screen location label reading “Miami Garage”.
A second photograph showed tall palm trees against a clear blue sky.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi did not provide any further details about the visit, and it is not known why he is in Florida.
The property developer and interior designer is married to Princess Beatrice.
He shares a son, Christopher Woolf “Wolfie” Mapelli Mozzi, with his former partner Dara Huang.
Ms Huang is an American architect who was born and raised in Florida, and recently took Wolfie to Miami for Christmas in 2025.
She shared an Instagram story showing her son at a mini golf course with a caption referencing a “Florida Christmas”.

This contrasted with 2024, when Wolfie joined his father and Princess Beatrice at Sandringham for Christmas.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi’s Florida trip comes after fresh reporting about a setback linked to one of his business projects in Australia.
The 42-year-old is the founder of Banda Property, a luxury design and development company.
In recent years, Banda was linked to a planned high-end beachfront project in Australia called Masthead Ocean Club, which was promoted as a major development on the Gold Coast.

The Masthead development has since collapsed, with the company behind the scheme going into administration.
Banda had worked on the project, which was described as a £125million development, with the collapse representing a blow to the firm’s involvement.
The company has also announced other work in Australia in recent years, including a separate Sydney interiors project at 81 Yarranabbe in Darling Point.
Mr Mapelli Mozzi married Princess Beatrice in 2020 and subsequently had two more children.

The couple's first daughter, Sienna, was born on September 18, 2021.
Beatrice then gave birth to another daughter, Athena, on January 22, 2025.
While Mr Mapelli Mozzi has posted pictures from Florida, Princess Beatrice was spotted in Switzerland for the World Economic Forum.
