The new season of the Duchess of Sussex's Netflix series has been released today

Meghan Markle has revealed that weeks of separation from Archie and Lilibet made her “not well”.

The Duchess of Sussex shared the personal details during episode three of the second season of With Love, Meghan.


The three-week period of separation occurred in 2022, when Meghan and Harry were in the UK for Queen Elizabeth II's funeral.

Meghan made the comments during a conversation about parenthood with guest Tan France.

She said: “You want to be a parent who is like ‘yes go do your thing, go live your life,’ but I miss you so much.

“The longest I went without being around our kids was almost three weeks. I was not well.”

Mr France replied: “It hurts my heart thinking I am not as important as the other parent.”

Meghan said: “It will change, there will come a moment where you are the favourite and it will keep flowing.”

During another conversation with Mr France, Meghan revealed what she missed most about the UK.

The Duchess of Sussex left the UK in 2020 after stepping down as a working member of the Royal Family.

Meghan has not returned to the UK since Queen Elizabeth II's funeral in September 2022.

She said: “One of the things I miss the most about the UK is the radio station called…"

Mr France interrupted the Duchess to say: “Our radio is so good”, before Meghan revealed: “Magic.”

The fashion expert made a shocked facial expression before exclaiming: “Magic FM?! Now, um, sorry to say this to you, uh, publicly, but that’s such a grandma station.”

Meghan burst out laughing and responded: “I’ll be that grandma! My favourite station in my car is called Mom Jeans.

“These are throwback, great, sing-along, you forget they existed. I love it.”
