Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams feels the decision to film both seasons of the programme concurrently was “unwise, because you can't pick up any criticism”.
The first instalment of "With Love, Meghan" was panned by both critics and general audiences, with several choice moments inflaming a negative reaction.
Fitzwilliams suggested that, although filming had already taken place, there had been “tweaks” made to the show’s editing following the backlash.
“It was only a minute, two minutes that we saw, but the way it was tweaked was obviously a response to criticism,” he claimed.

To him, the most significant change appeared to be a reframing of Meghan’s interactions with her celebrity guests.
“The trailer seemed a great deal more down-to-earth,” Fitzwilliams exclusively told GB News.
“I think she is a bit more responsive (to guests)... Meghan appeared to be receptive to the views of others,” he added.
Throughout the trailer, the Duchess could be seen chatting, cooking and doing other activities with guests.

“I’m so glad you came to show me how to do this,” she could be heard saying at one point, later giggling and asking: “Is this working?”
These moments were perhaps included in the edit to present a more “down-to-earth” persona, as Fitzwilliams suggested.
Among the celebrity guests featured in the trailer were Chrissy Teigen and fashion expert Tan France.
Additional guests confirmed for the second series include chefs David Chang, Samin Nosrat, Christina Tosi and Clare Smyth.

Meghan’s personal circle will also feature prominently, with appearances from fitness instructor Heather Dorak and entrepreneur Jamie Kern Lima.
Makeup artist Daniel Martin, who appeared in the programme's initial series, will also return for the upcoming episodes.
Prince Harry and Meghan's children, Prince Archie and Prince Lilibet, were not visible in the trailer.
However, Meghan made a cheeky reference to her husband in the closing moments of the trailer.
