British Airways will boost its Cincinnati to London Heathrow service from five to six flights weekly and switch to bigger Boeing 777-200 aircraft from next March.
The airline's expansion comes after strong passenger demand since the route began in 2023. It's the only direct link to the UK from Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana.
From March 29, 2026, flights will run every day except Thursdays until October. The move from Boeing 787-8 to the larger 777-200 means capacity will jump by 55 to 60 per cent compared to this year.
The new aircraft will carry 48 Club World suites, 40 World Traveller Plus seats and 184 economy seats. It will also provide much more cargo space for local shippers.

BA's chief planning and strategy officer, Neil Chernoff, said: "Since launching our non-stop service between Cincinnati and London Heathrow over two years ago, we've been delighted by the strong demand from customers across the region ever since.
"Now operating six times per week and on larger aircraft, this expanded schedule offers our customers greater flexibility and convenience when planning their next journey. It also reflects our ongoing commitment to our biggest international market."
Airport and economic development officials called the upgrade proof of Cincinnati's expanding global connections. They see it as a solid base for bringing more international flights to CVG.
