"Every society has its outcasts. The child on the playground cast out for the wrong look, the wrong clothes. The student cast out for an unfortunate social interaction.
"Social media is our new town square where pylon shavings make our castings out public to the world. I suspect many of us have experienced being the outcast, and that can be a painful and lonely experience."
