In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we remember that Jesus is alive and changes lives today.
"When Jesus told his first followers that he would die and rise in the third Day, they were as skeptical as we would be. When Jesus was captured, put on trial, every single one of his followers ran off, terrified for their lives, and Peter, one of his closest followers, denied even knowing him three times when Jesus died. They thought it was game over.
"Jesus's movement looked like a failure, but something happened that turned their world upside down and altered the course of human history.
"Huddled in a house with the doors locked for fear of the Jewish leaders, Jesus appeared among his followers, showing them the crucifixion, puncture wounds on his hands and on his side. What would convince a group of skeptics that Jesus had risen?
"What would transform a people in hiding to then go out and publicly proclaim that Jesus rose from the dead and even endure intense persecution for it? An encounter with the risen Jesus. They knew it was true."
