In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we recall how Jesus tells a story comparing a righteous religious guy bragging about his good works to a tax collector.
"The punchline is that it's a tax collector. The guy who knows he falls short and knows he needs help, who gets declared holy by Jesus.
"I find this good news because even though I'm a paid up vicar, I'm not the holy person I should be. I forget to pray and give and find myself running out of patience with others. But I can join in with that prayer of the tax collector. Lord, have mercy on me, a sinner."
