In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we explore the Christian doctrine of the Trinity, arguing that God is revealed as Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
We can do this through the analogy of water existing as ice, liquid and steam to illustrate how Christians understand one God expressed in three distinct persons.
“How can God have three distinct characters in one person? Well, it's a bit like this.
“If I take some ice and put it in a cup, it becomes water. And then, if I add some hot water to this water, we get steam.
“How can H2O have three qualities at the same time? Ice, water, steam.
“I think this is a good example of how God can be the 3 in 1, the Triune, the Trinity, Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.”
