In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we examine a "deeper thread running through the Bible".
"The human heart oozes things that are not good. Selfishness. Greed. Ugliness. The stuff about leprosy is not ultimately about skin conditions, but about the parable that they tell.
"Evil flows from deep within, and it excludes us from God's presence. Which is why one of Jesus's favourite miracles is to heal those with leprosy, those with skin conditions.
"His mission is to restore and include the physical outcasts. But it speaks to a deeper mission still to cleanse us from sin, from all that is morally ugly, and to restore us to God. He does that through the cross and by offering us new hearts by the Holy Spirit."
