In today's GB News Daily Reflection, we acknowledge that who we eat with and who we spend time with says a lot about us.
"In the Bible, we read that Jesus was having dinner at the home of a tax collector. The tax man and other sinners, it says, came and were sitting with him and his disciples.
"When the local religious people saw this, the Pharisees, they said to Jesus's disciples, to his followers, why does your teacher eat with the tax collectors and with sinners?
"And when he heard this, Jesus says, those who are well don't have need of a doctor, but those who are sick, they're the ones that need the doctor. Jesus chose to eat with sinners and tax collectors because they were in need.
"Jesus offers the same to you and to me as well. He chooses to come and eat with me because I'm in need, who I choose to eat with, says a lot about me, and who Jesus chose to eat with says a lot about him."
