In today's daily reflection, we think about how Jesus felt in the desert during those 40 days, how parched he must have felt - and how we can translate that feeling into a sentiment of restlessness in our day-to-day lives.
"In John's Gospel, Jesus meets a woman drawing water at a well in the heat of the day. He speaks to her about living water.
"He says everyone who drinks this water will be thirsty again, but whoever drinks the water I give them will never thirst.
"She thinks he means an easier way to get the water. She already knows. But he's speaking about something much deeper."
