Former Liberal Democrat MP Norman Baker has criticised the idea of widely distributing health-monitoring smartwatches to the public.
Speaking about the proposal, Baker said: "What if you lose the thing? Well, another one. I mean, look at the moments."
He suggested a more controlled approach, stating: "If you go to the GP and they think the issue is blood pressure, they can lend you if you haven't got one, and a device to measure your blood pressure for a week and you bring it back to the surgery with your results."
