US President Donald Trump has called the shooting in Sydney a “terrible attack” during a Christmas celebration at the White House.
Speaking alongside his wife Melania, Mr Trump called the incident “a purely antisemitic attack.”
He said: "It was a rough day, for Australia and the Prime Minister, to everybody that we know so well, we get along with so well, we have a great relationship. That's a terrible situation going on over there."
