The Labour Party conference kicked off today
GB News Political Editor Christopher Hope brought a splash of patriotism to Labour’s annual conference today as he handed out Union flags to MPs and delegates.
Most MPs were pleased to receieve the flag, with MP Steve Reed saying: "The left does embrace the flag.
"Have you seen all of the Labour banners everywhere when you're welcomed in the building?
"My Labour Party membership card is the Union Jack. We're very proud of our country."
