Richard Tice opened up on the threat of Reform to the main parties after he was questioned over whether his party was 'credible'.

The leader defended his party's performance, he said: "We're standing in every seat. In England, Scotland and Wales, about 630 seats were going up in the polls.

"We're within three or 4 or 5 points of the Tories and heading north. We're delighted with the results. Last week we got our first London Assembly member.

"We almost beat the Tories in Blackpool South by election, our biggest ever by election result. And in the North now, where we stood in the locals, we were ahead of the Tories.

"So more and more people are talking about us. More and more people say actually those are the commonsense policies that will save Britain.

"And what I say is a vote for reform, get reform. It's just keep on doing what we're doing, which is spreading the word campaign events up and down the country.

I'm touring other senior members of touring, appearing on as much media as we can. It's not easy for small parties.

"But here's the thing if you don't try, you've got no chance. And we are exceeding everybody's expectations. All the naysayers and the doomsayers who said we can't do it."
